DELIVER LIFESAVING RELIEF

Last month, two devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela within seconds of each other, killing over 3,500 people and plunging entire communities into utter chaos. Widespread damage and complete infrastructure collapse have left over 20,000 people without food, water, shelter, or medical care. This devastation has been compounded by pre-existing extreme poverty, a broken healthcare system, and a political crisis that has hampered the government's response.

WE’RE RESPONDING TO THE MOST URGENT NEEDS

We’re coordinating with local partners to get emergency aid where it's needed most. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll prioritize delivering:

  • Emergency medical supplies and medication

  • Clothes, blankets, and mattresses for families staying in cold, overcrowded shelters

  • Water filters and hygiene kits to prevent the further spread of disease

STICKING WITH COMMUNITIES FOR THE LONG ROAD TO RECOVERY

Long after the headlines fade, families will still be working tirelessly to rebuild their lives from scratch. At LHI, we’re committed to ensuring they have the resources needed to get back on their feet—whether that looks like mental or physical healthcare, rebuilding infrastructure, or skills training.
