1. DOWNLOAD AND PRINT “GIVING IS HEALING” STORY CARDS.

Meet members of our global LHI family—Koro from Ethiopia, Mbalo in Uganda, and Lisa in Burundi. Each card features a powerful portrait on the front and a short, warm story on the back. They are great for table settings or as conversation starters.

2. DOWNLOAD AND PRINT “YOU ARE LOVED” CARDS.

We include hand-decorated “You Are Loved” cards in every aid kit we distribute. Making them is fun and easy!

Print the cards out and set up a coloring or decorating station at your gathering. Then mail or drop off your finished cards to our warehouse so we can include them in our aid shipments. They offer a personal note of support and encouragement to individuals and families rebuilding their lives. It’s an easy, hands-on way to involve guests of all ages!

3. GET INVOLVED IN GIVING.

This year, we’ve witnessed countless families lose their homes to natural disasters, children fall silent from trauma, and communities shattered by war. It’s easy to feel powerless in the face of so much pain and need. But there is hope.

Giving reminds us that healing is possible—for ourselves and for others—as we deliver aid, warmth, and connection to those rebuilding their lives from war or disaster.
