SUPPORT OUR LOCAL MEDICAL TEAMS

The ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has officially been declared a global public health emergency. With over 500 people infected and more than 130 lives lost, the situation is escalating rapidly. The crisis is worsened by violence in the DRC, fragile local health systems, and recent funding cuts to international aid.

During any public health crisis, displaced families are the most vulnerable. As thousands flee violence in the DRC and seek safety in overcrowded refugee camps, they face high exposure risks with little to no access to basic healthcare.

We’re there and ready to respond—but we need your help.

LHI’s medical clinic near the Kyaka II refugee camp in Uganda serves thousands of Congolese refugees. Located right in the path of newly arriving families from the DRC, our clinic is a critical line of defense.

Your donation today directly funds:

  • Medical supplies and protective gear

  • Ebola screening training and safety protocols

  • Frontline, professional staffing needed to contain cases

Thank you for supporting our local medical teams and their lifesaving work.
