URGENT AID TO FRONTLINE COMMUNITIES
It is easy to distribute aid in Western Ukraine. Getting to the frontline areas is a lot harder. But the needs there are immense. The Ukrainian counter-offensive will only increase this need. Therefore, we plan to focus our aid distributions to fill this gap in frontline and liberated areas.

SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL HEALING
As the war rages on, we see a huge unmet need to help people process the immense trauma, grief and loss they have experienced. Our experience suggests access to therapy and social-emotional support reduces the risk of developing conditions that linger for years like anxiety and PTSD. We take a personal approach. Because it is personal.

CRITICAL MEDICAL AID
Treating wounds from shrapnel. Major surgery in the dark. Power outages in NICU wards. Working in looted spaces. Ukrainian hospitals face extreme challenges to deliver urgent and basic healthcare. We provide vital medical aid like surgical tools, fabric and plaster bandages, operating tables, autoclaves and air sterilizers, neonatal lamps, and more.

LHI SHELTER
The LHI Shelter in Lviv, Ukraine houses 40+ women and children who fled frontline areas to find safety. We provide the roof over their heads and their food, but they’ve made it a home. You can feel the power of community as they cook together and generate some income with their food dehydrating business.
LHI MOLDOVA
Civilians caught in crossfire are often left with more than just physical wounds. We are building programs to help Ukrainian refugees overcome psychological distress, reconnect with community, promote personal and professional development, and build resilience.
