We’re celebrating my birthday in truly glamorous style: rolling up our sleeves and working on an aid shipment at the LHI warehouse!
I’ve also decided to fundraise for 20 goats! Goats are helping families become self-sufficient fast and move out of refugee camps. LHI distributes goats in Afghanistan, Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and other locations where families know exactly how to grow the herd and start a business. Families can breed and sell goats for much needed income. Some families also sell goat milk or milk products. LHI provides support like entrepreneurial training, co-op memberships, and vet care to set their businesses up for success.
Each goat costs $150 and helps lift a family toward lasting stability.
You can join the party in person or donate for a goat in my honor, or — best of all — do both!

Since 2016, our dynamic and passionate team has responded to the ongoing refugee crisis by meeting the most immediate and vital needs of millions of refugees.
