SUPPORT LHI THROUGH A GIVING MACHINE!
Refugees flee their homes to find safety from war or disaster. Help them rebuild with dignity and an emphasis on self-reliance. In the 2026 Giving Machines, we feature:
Goats
Refugee families living in camps face restrictions and isolation that often make them dependent on aid. But goats can jump-start their abilities to generate income and build assets that grow year over year. They can spend the money they earn on food, school fees, or medical bills and improve their quality of life.
Chickens
Global food aid budgets have been slashed, which means refugee families need other ways to feed their families. Chickens are plentiful producers of eggs, which are a great source of protein and nutrients. Extra eggs can also be sold at the market too for additional income.
Meal boxes
Hunger hits fast in a refugee camp, and limited access to food increases the risk of malnutrition. A food box provides a full week of three nutritious meals a day for a family of four, with health staples like rice, lentils, and oil.
School Kits
Help refugee children get the school supplies they need to show up, participate, and learn. Each kit is lovingly packed with pencils and pens, sharpeners, notebooks, erasers, scissors, crayons or colored pencils.
Sewing Kits
Refugee women and girls bear some of the greatest burdens of displacement but they’re also often the ones holding their families together. A sewing kit can give a refugee woman the tools she needs to turn a skill she already has into a business to support her family.
